We start with an interview to gather the information about the recipient(s), the occasion, and the little details (like color palette, special interests, environment) that will go into the finished piece.
After an initial sketch is completed and approved by the client, the design is then either sketched onto hot-pressed watercolor paper or calfskin vellum. The design is finished in any combination of watercolor, gouache, pastels or colored pencil. Details are done in fine inks and 24 karat gold leaf or Palladium.
This is an investment piece that will be treasured for years to come by the recipient! Framing and gift wrapping are also available at an additional cost.

For My Dear Grandson
This cherished artwork was lovingly created for my grandson as a keepsake to celebrate his arrival. I used Borrowed Blue ink from Ferris Wheel Press on 140lb hot-pressed watercolor paper, accented with Italian metallic watercolors from The Creative Kinds in Camille Blue and Neve. The piece features a heartfelt poem written by me, delicate pearl accents, and is finished in a silver frame, measuring 11" x 14". Inspired by the timeless elegance of Lombardic Versal Capitals, I designed the title with flourished letters and incorporated a coordinating cross and filigree motif at the bottom for balance and beauty. This heirloom-quality artwork is a true labor of love—crafted to last for generations—and reflects the kind of one-of-a-kind, deeply personal creations I can design for any special occasion.
